Josh Martinez has been serving up the scorching hot heat since his early days as an arsonist. Having given up crime, Josh turned to organized religion, and set out to convert the unwashed masses. Having found that the masses were in fact already washed, Josh turned to rap music as an excuse to kiss girls and get free beer. It seems to have worked, as the name Josh Martinez is now synomous with both loose women and cheap beer.
A master tactician. That is Sleep in a nutshell. Admittedly addicted to writing lyrics by the time he'd reached just the second grade, this founding member of The Northwest's Oldominion crew began forging the unique style that has become his calling card in hip hop at a very young age.
The Goods are the next and best group to come out of Halifaxs hip hop scene. As the dynamic duo of Kunga 219 on the mic and DJ Gordski on the beats, The Goods have been putting in work since 1996.
