This record is a transitional one for both Sleep and Zelly Rock. Mostly produced by Smoke of Oldominion, but not lacking in Andy B slappers, this record blends dance hall with underground hip hop. It took some work to find a middle ground for the project, but the effort was well worth it as the result is a refreshing departure from your everyday indy hip hop album. Combination Locked is reinventing the northwest sound of which both Sleep and Zelly Rock helped pioneer.
